AMERICA’S OUTRAGE AT JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AND JANET JACKSON SUPERBOWL PEEPSHOW: FULL INQUIRY LAUNCHED BY US MEDIA WATCHDOGS
Tuesday, 3rd February 2004

The FCC in the US, the top government media watchdog, is questioning whether or not Janet’s waps-out stunt at the superbowl breached US government indecency guidelines.

After public and official outrage reached fever pitch as images of the Superbowl (watched by 100m people worldwide, seriously girls, how would you feel if 100m people had check out your right breast?) were beamed round the globe, Ms Jackson said sorry on Monday, saying it had’t been planned until after rehearsals had taken place and that it had ‘gone too far’.

"The decision to have a costume reveal at the end of my half-time show performance was made after final rehearsals," Jackson said in a statement, "MTV was completely unaware of it… It was not my intention that it go as far as it did. I apologize to anyone offended, including the audience, MTV, CBS, and the NFL (National Football League)."

=================================

Janet Jackson has admitted that her Superbowl stripping stunt wasn't an accident after all.

Millions of viewers in the US were stunned when Justin ripped off Janet's top at the end of their half time duet of 'Rock your Body'.

Her bare breast was there for all to see just as Justin sang 'I'm gonna have you naked by the end of this song'.

They claimed it was unplanned, but now Janet has had to apologise and admit it was staged. She said the decision to do it was made after final rehearsals.

US authorities are launching an inquiry into whether indecency rules were broken during the broadcast. But Justin seems quite proud:

"It was fun. It was quick, slick, to the point. No, I enjoyed it. I love giving y'all something to talk about!"
